Jill Hermans and Chloe McColl revealed their exciting new works at Hand Held this week at the opening of their new show MELT. The word 'Melt' inspires visions of soft undulating surfaces, intense colours, unusual shapes, unexpected unions and exciting textures and this collection of contemporary jewellery does not disappoint. Drop in and see the exhibition in the next few weeks.

Priscilla Ambrosini's beautiful collection of 'Oddments' are currently on display at Hand Held. Priscilla's delicately printed and hand embroidered pieces are like Gothic miniatures; unique in style and technique - a whimsical, delightful exhibition.

The will be a gallery fee of $10 per entry (single/edition/series) and entries are unlimited. All work will be for sale and the show falls just before Christmas so It's a good opportunity to sell some work as Christmas gifts.
The show opens December 20th so I'd need the work by 17th December at the latest.
If you've got some work and you are keen to help Hand Held stay on its feet let me know you are interested.

My new exhibition 'Tea Party' opened on Thursday night at Hand Held Gallery.
An exhibition of works made from tea bag paper.
My work reflects on the heirloom items of an older generation as they fade into insignificance. What was once treasured is now ephemeral and throw away.
Recycled 'throw away' material is printed and formed and in its new form challenges our understanding of what fragility and preciousness actually is.
Join us Tuesday to Saturday until September 15
