Next Up

Selena de Carvalho's new exhibition 'More Rogue Ideas' will open Wednesday Feb 10th 6-8pm. Created from an evocative palette of printed work, gleaned materials, drawn and sculptural works, Selena explores the deeply mysterious world we inhabit.

'The wild and unpredictable weather patterns, El Nino and La Nina; are both devastating and humbling in their temperament. El Nino translates from spanish as boy child & La Nina as girl child. By personifying these elemental attributes of destruction and enchantment in the form of children I am creating a poetic narrative that reflects on human interaction with our environment.'
